good thing you are getting out of the neon scene, nothing quite like the non-SRT neon people, they are quite humorous

 

The forums i visited for my neon they werent OMG STOCK 2.0 MOTOR WILL SMOKE EVERYONE i found srt people are alot cockier depending on the forums but im happy to be getting into a NEW car zero miles full warrenty and much quicker and still in production lol

 

after reading the earlier post of limited edition, i searched and came up with no such thing as limited edition cobalts. i bet a dealer slapped on a sec. edition sticker on it and jacked up the price since its not unheard of for a dealer to pull that stuff.

 

Well the SRT guys at least have some speed to back up the cockiness (but yea, they can get annoying). I've seen a decent amount of 2.0/2.4 guys that were a bit delusional. (aka their intake/catback car was now making 30hp more than stock and was 2.0 sec faster 0-60). But then again that happens with a lot of people that have never been in a truly fast vehicle.

 

if i thought io could have even a quick car for not 5 grand motor and boost i would be keeping my car if i could find an srt-4 not beat to ***** id buy it but i cant and ive always liked the cobalts since the sc ones came out

yeah opi and me (05neonsxt) came from t here and both just got SS/SC in the last month

funny how 3 neons are going to cobalts when over on 2gn most people wanted the SRT

 

yea, too bad you cant really convert any N/A car to turbo and be pushing any sort of reliable, worthwhile boost for less than $5k

low cost, reliability, quality...unfortunately you almost always only get 2 out of those 3 at any one time

Nice!! I have an 02 neon, and will be trading that for an 06/07 ss s/c. I tell ya though, my k&n drop in gives me a s**t load more horsepower on the neon...I must be pushing a massive 175 at the wheels......not!! Haha!!! Can't wait till the summer s/c here I come!!!
