Because I have an opinion? You girls are really sensitive. If you don't want an opinion, don't post on a public forum. I'm not here to kiss your ass and tell you how pretty your cheap-ass work is.

Theres something called constructive criticism, and then theres just stating your opinion like an *******. At no point did you really offer any helpful criticism, you were just a dick...but thats something I dont think you can really change.

If stating my opinion makes me a dick, then so be it. Man, you've hurt my one e-feeling.

I've changed my mind about yellow car owners since that time. After seeing "copson20's" signature, I've decided you're all a bunch of guidos.

Did you at least paint the inside of the wheel, since it is clearly visible?

powder coating and painting are 2 different things, the powder coating requires baking after it's powder coated at like 350-400 degrees for a few hours or something in that range. your tires would not like that. when painted, it's just painted,..and dried..

Did you get your self-induced miss fixed yet? Taping your O2 sensor to the bottom of your car wasn't too smart was it?

Dude, what is your problem? Just because something isn't to your taste doesn't mean you need to be insulting and look to start an e-fight with this guy over whatever you can pick apart.

I think the wheels look good; especially considering he did it himself for a very minimal cost. If you don't like it, that's fine; doesn't mean everyone who does is an idiot.

To the OP, I think that's a pretty cool combo! I'm not a huge fan of metal flake on a lot of stuff, but the gold flake in black paint combo seems pretty creative. Nice idea, and good work!

If you look back, you will see that I was not the one that started the name-calling and acting like a tool.

Btw, shouldn't this thread be in the "Wheels" section where it can get the smaller audience that it deserves?

im starting to enjoy this actually. Taping my O2 sensor wasnt the smartest of moves, i was so frustrated at the damn bolts for the downpipe anything to speed up the process seemed good to me at the time. i regret it now, but i didnt realise the wiring harness was close to the sensor itself. i shoudl have spent the extra money for the O2 bung welded in, didnt think it was necessary at the time.

I can man up when i mess something up dont worry. does make me wish i didnt have such a delicate car however. Having buddies with foxbody mustangs and me having a turbo cobalt is a completely different spectrum of pain in the ass

Anyway enough e-fighting and back on point. You need to get pics of the wheels on the car in the sun. Oh and as for the anodized lug nuts, I googled it and no one has yellow. just red blue and black. You could probably get some done if you knew someone who worked somewhere that did anodizing.

Nope I wanted it in this section because I wanted examples of SS/TC wheels only. If it needed to be moved the mods would have done that.

Thanks for your concern though.

ok this is an old ass thread but people always says use the search function...

i'm getting my wheels dipped in chrome, will be a couple of weeks before I send them off and then it'll be another 3-5 weeks before I get them back... if you plan on doing this, you need another car, lol... the Cobalt can't be your only car as its too long of a turn around... but I think the wheels will look awesome in chrome, something GM should have offered as an option

its not THAT high, got a price at $188 per wheel, less than $800(includes shipping both ways) and the guys who have had wheels done by this company that I know, say they do an awesome job... its actually less than I expected... I don't want to use spacers, don't really like any of the wheels that will fit and love the stock wheel, just want it chrome

you COULD polish them because they are aluminum, but i've had polished chrome wheels, they are a BITCH to keep clean... said never again... real chrome weighs more but i'll sacrifice the weight for the looks... its pretty expensive to still have the stock wheel but I was planning on paying $800-$1000 for a set of wheels anyway and as I said I LOVE the look of the stock wheel, just hate the finish on them... powdercoating is played out, chrome never gets old

You know what you could do is manage to snag a set of like $150 a rim aftermarkets or a set of SS/SC wheels and still be able to drive the balt. Then when ur chrome stockers get back u would have a winter set too. I would have to go that route as I dont have another car and need mine daily. I'm gonna have to get a set from like a junkyard or something for when i get mine powdercoated.
