OMG finally...

The baseline is ZZP's "canned tune"

Had a great time at Pwerks with Matt and Dave. Two very cool and extremely knowledgeable guys. Matt must have answered 100 questions from me by this point which was very helpful in learning some of the inner workings of this car. Everything went very smoothly and Dave was able to squeeze quite a bit more power out despite being limited by 91 octane. I would highly recommend you get tuned here if it's something you've been considering.

All around the car just runs better and it pulls much further into the top end. There was a very obvious and severe nose dive prior to this.

Congrats on the 315/340, great numbers for basic bolt on's and a tune but what psi did you end up putting down?

Thank you.

22-23 psi with a 26.4 psi peak in there somewhere. Near 20 psi by the end. Absolutely zero knock now. Some of the knock I'd been seeing was nothing more than harmonics. False knock indeed. However it was pulling some timing very early due to knock. We gained power by pulling timing out

Good numbers man, I was talking with Matt about them a little after you left the shop, nice to see you are happy with the tune and the service provided!

Very happy indeed. I was checking out your fifth injector setup and the Powell separator. Definitely going to do the separator and check valve. Brand new motor, I don't want any issues down the road. I may run the car for the first time Friday night now that I know it's solid.

Get the Powell separator now, easy install in about 30 minutes. First thing I did to my car when I bought it.

What's the price on the separator?

Ouch! But worth it I suppose. The main benefit is that I'll never have to clean my valves right? My only future plans besides this are oil changes and new shocks/struts when I hit 50k in a couple years.

I'd rather spend $400 on a good oil separator than spend a day chewing on walnut shells.

Isn't it only $350, I was just talking to Jon today about running it on my soon to be TC 2.2 LAP.

Dude awesome! Congrats on the numbers - glad to see solid numbers on 91. That's what I'm going to be running as well.

It's all in the tune. I was surprised by the numbers as well. The Dynocom reads higher than a mustang but lower than a dynojet so they're definitely solid numbers.

This thing is a blast to drive now. It pulls so much harder on the top end. I did see a 27 psi spike that kind of freaked me out but I'm still not getting any knock so I guess it's all good.

If you would like the boost turned doen we can do that.I recommend Hpt so we can just mail you any tweaks unless you want to come hang out again haha. With the weather changing and so forth things dont always remain the same as the dat it was tuned but we always back our work and tuning so you will be taken care of
