Questions about ordering/financing process

Hey everyone.

On the weekend I had a chance to take an SS/TC out for a test drive. I was really impressed with the car, GM has sure come a long way. As a bonus, my fiancee likes it as well.

I was pretty surprised when the salesman just gave me the keys, put on a set plates and said "Have fun, just don't blow it up". Let's just say I almost feel bad for the person that ends up buying that car The salesman didn't even pressure me at all to make the sale afterwards.

So now I want to order one, this will be my first brand new car.

My question is: When is financing worked out, before or after the car arrives? Right now that dealership is offering 0% (Although I'm not sure if it applies to the SS) and I would really like to take advantage of that if I could.

GMAC isn't offering 0% on anything fuel efficient. You can work out the pricing/financing before or after delivery I believe.

I did all that after it was delivered.

Yeah you are right, I just re-read the promotion and it's only on 08 models.

How did I miss that one haha!

Another question,

Does anyone know if the SS/TC is eligible for the recent graduate rebate program (Student Bonus)?
