So I bought a brand new lsd f35 transmission brand new southbend stage 3 clutch and oem flyhwheel, my mechanic installed everything I noticed when I got the car back it made a little shatter noise until I pressed down the clutch and it went away, also sometimes it didn’t want to go into first or revserve and I told him he said we would just need to realign it okay no problem, 2 days later about 60k on the new clutch I came to a stop sign so I tried to push in the clutch and it was really hard to push down but I went to the floor, was it was fully pressed I heard a whining buzzing sound for a few seconds then I took my foot off the clutch.. then it wouldn’t go in any gear.. so i shut it off put it in first and then turned it on but when I turned it on it make a cracking /grinding noise and I knew something broke so I turned it off and towed it back to the mechanic, he took it apart and the disc was completely shattered and the throwout bearing was messed up. I was babying the car I shifted under 3k I don’t understand why this happen if someone could explain my mechanic said he has no idea.

love the clutch. They just like to blow up on their own.
Also that looks like a stage 4! Realistically nothing new to see. If under warranty. They can get replaced. I love the clutch. Just hate it when it goes boom. Has happened to me like 5 times.
