Cold shifting
I have the same problem. I live in Western Mass in the Berkshires the past few mornings it's been negative 10 to -20 and I've had to back into my parking space the night before because first thing in the morning it's almost impossible to muscle it into reverse!

I've had the same exact issues as you all are saying. What greatly improved mine was new shifter cables. I replaced mine because someone snapped them off the the transmission housing bracket and had them ziptied into place, was like that when I bought it. You wouldn't believe the amount of resistance that the old cables had. Then after I replaced the cables it was like a different car, I used the redline mtf 90 fluid from zzp. I still struggle with first and reverse a little when it's extremely cold but once it's warmed up it's ok.

It's been low 20's here recently and I've got the whole Shifter won't budge thing going on, I just work it gently and when I can finally get it into N I just work it back and forth a bit, then go into each gear until it's all loose.
