A couple days ago I test drove an ss/tc. I drove it by myself with no one else in it I took it on the highway and around some windy turns. To be quite honest with ya'll, I'm gonna keep my ss/sc. Sure there was a noticeable power difference but not enough to make me want one, and the handling and brakes feel exactly the same as my car. It's not worth it for me to trade my car in when I only owe 10 grand on it. Never-the-less, the ss/tc felt great.

 

TC is nice and all but... I still can't get over paying 3k over what I paid for my SS/SC. I mean brakes and the power is great but that's not what sells me.

 

exactly, i can spend 3 grand and turbo my car and have it be alot faster than most cars on the road. Hell it already is faster than most cars on the road.

 

yes but think about the mods done to your SC's not think if thats done to the TC's ya know

true that. i'm in the same boat as u and i am keeping my s/c. the new cnc ported head and new intake mani are going to help us LSJ guys out tremendously(sp./)

rebel is making both. ottperformance is also making the head and the manifold 2. i'll get some links 4 ya give me a minute

and the manifold from ottperformance is being tested out 1st b4 info is released

 

well........... your logic makes sense and the ss/sc is a great car so I understand. I got my tc for 21k and some change out the door so it worked for me.

 

I would love to have a tc but it's not worth it for me to trade my car in on one. Have fun with your tc, it's a great car.
