I test drove the G8 GT
All I'm saying is if I had the money to afford a 32,000 car, I'd be all over it.
Its ******* fast as hell, from any gear, from any speed, from any condition.
I launched it and we were doing 90 in no time. Going down sheafe rd (for every1 that lives in wapp gonna be reading this). By the baseball field i was doing 30, once i cleared the hill and was next to the field i floored it. Boom 120 before i got near the turn
This car will decimate anything stock, just imangine what a few bolt ons would do lol

Yeah but a stick in this car doesnt make it faster, just more power handling for tuning. Most cars under 11 seconds are auto remember that. Your right though the GXP is going to be insane
And yes Ive seen all these holdens, but remember. Its still a chevy engine =)

holden has been designing and building its own cars AND ENGINES since 1856.
In fact, i wouldnt be surprised if there are actually more HOLDEN engines in north america, than North American engines in Holdens.
In 2000 – when the foundry poured a record 50,000 tonnes of metal – HEO shipped 264,942 engines, earning total export revenue of $447 million. In 2002, HEO engines and components earned $150.5 million dollars in export revenue. In 2003, 134, 412 Holden Family II four cylinder engines were shipped to customers in Egypt, Indonesia, Japan, North America, South Africa and South Korea.
^^ a good read on the great history of Holden Engines.
Yes. you can get a holden with an LS3 now
but dont even hint that a company with as much car making class as Holden, needs to use Chevy engines to kick some ass.
how many American cars are built entirely in America, and shipped to Australia because they are just so good?
why are there no corvettes in australia?
why are there no mustangs?
because Holden is your ****** daddy. and dont you forget it.

I dont see why you would quote that and call me an asshat for it?
are they not valid questions showing the point?
can you not answer the question?
do you have ANYTHING valuable to add to the discussion? or did your ***** just tingle when you saw me post again, and you couldnt help youself?
maybe its cuz your panties are still in a twist at your clutch problem being between your ears, instead of in the engine bay?
get back on topic franky boy, your pathetic attempt at burning me is nothing more than a waste of perfectly good bandwidth.
point still stands, holden has been making extremely good engines for years.
its north america who is importing Australian cars, not vice-versa.

its only just been announced that SOME will be getting it.
prior to april there have been no commodores with LS3 engines.
and its likely a kickback to the fact that the G8 is coming from australia, hence australia is taking a bit of chevy love in return.
it is the HSV line of commodores that is going to be available with the LS3
HSV is holdens "in house tuner" similar to SVT or SRT groups etc.
heres a good read on the announcement.
