Do it... but if you're Trifecta tuned right now expect it take a good amount of mods to catch up since they're already 50 hp down from a stock LNF. Can't really say no to RWD...

I love the Cobalt and I myself wouldn't consider it.

But just take one for a good test drive. Sit on it a week or so, test drive again... sit on it a bit. Just see how you feel about it.

If you like it better and think you would be happier with it, go for it.

im a cobalt fanboy hardcore. id do it. since its turbo the potential is great. the gt30 kit will make 350 rwhp on it and its around 1500 iirc. sick and rwd.. plus nice interior and good quality. id take it, prolly not if i had an lnf tho.. cuz u wasted ur money.

It's going to be a big loss for you financially and it isnt going to be as fast.....I say keep the Cobalt

If you really want a badass RWD japanese sports car, pick up a late 90's Miata and do the flyin miata LS3 swap with the hot cam....that will run 10's with ease.

That might be my own next project.

Didn't know Hyundai was Japanese and it was a sports car lol. More like a South Korean coupe.

Forget fast! the G coupe is a great car all around. i would buy one if i had the chance. i did beat one with full exhaust & intake buy 2 cars on a bad start at the track the other day but like any car, throw some $$ in it and bye!
to me the genesis coupe is a more of a grown man look so to say that has potential.....if you can do it without hurting your pocket go for it

Overall its a nicer car than the cobalt. Not as fast no. But they seem so much more solid and the are right wheel drive. Not to mention that V6 sounds pretty damn good to me!

The only reason i would do it is if you were supercharged.. but ur already turbo with a faster car then even the v6 genesis... stick with the LNF is what i say. i do love the genesis though.

comfort and design genesis coupe, stock and bolt on performance... ss/tc, but if you go with an aftermarket turbo and suspension set up, the genesis is a better platform being rwd

i say do it. from what ive heard from people, dont know if its true or not. but the turbo'd genesis is based off of the 4g63 platform which is in those terms evos, eclipses, and talons. i know a girl who is driving a genesis here in illinois that has AMS's parts and there a good ass company to. so thats why you hear ams making parts for it.

The 4g63 was replaced by the 4B11 and its family which are used in Dodge,Jeep,Chrysler,Kia,Hyundai and Mitsubishi in its family are the 1.8,2.0,2.0T,and 2.4. Its one of the new world motors. Hyundai has admitted there is room for tuning and modifying in the Genesis coupe thats why they even make a stripped down R model for those people who wish to modify and add their own equipment

For the most part it is a detuned EVO engine.

as good as the lnf is i would say the 2.0t is a better project car because of the platform... it would be expensive, but better in teh end... what do you think?

thanks to the evo and the rapidly responding market for the genesis. I think it could. But in all honesty I havent done much research into the 2.0 as Id just want the 3.8 (just sounds and feels that much better to me) But the interior in the Genesis coupe is massively better. The presence the genesis has is better. And while I enjoy my cobalt it will always be a cobalt while in all honesty the genesis appears to be more and honestly is a lot more!
