the whole family car is very understandable and yea it has more ***** then the ss without modding. its definately a good choice just common like i said. i wouldnt go with it just because of that reason, maybe a cts-v or new genesis rspec sedan

Buy it, I'm sure you won't regret it at all. Basically a better car in every way except for mpgs.

how is it a better car? it cost more and with basic i mean very basic bolt ons you out perform even handling IMO, besides performance i totally understand the family thing i myself hav a family but i do drive a TC sedan so to me i have the best of both worlds, y not get a tc sedan? is there a big flaw with our cars im missing?

Meh, more maintainence. Higher $$ for parts of anykind. Not better in handling, I'm sure of it. My friend has the new wrx STI and its okay but can't do what my car can in the canyons. Weird I know.

It does sound sexy as hell and looks amazing. So if that takes the cake for you, I would do so.
In performance and bang for $$ the SS wins.

I think they're ugly and sound like 55 Chevy truck with a miss, but maybe that's just me.

Idk why everyone says they are a better car. They are double the price for a car that has AWD. The interior isin't any better...**** there are guys on here stomping STI's with a couple thousand into their SS/TC's

I'm not saying that the SS interior doesn't suck. But the WRX interior is not worth 20k more...its nothing special at all

I'm gonna disagree on the better built part. It's still just an econo car with a better suspension and powertrain just like a ss. It just costs a lot more.

My buddies old 02 wrx frankenstein (kind of an sti) interior was holding up better then my SS/TC 2010's :p I'm already noticing creaks and cracks and imperfections with interior, and it's still summer out, one winter comes everything likes to squeak more. God damn plastic everywhere.

I would like to see some pics of what is so special about the WRX interior. You guys are always talking about squeaks and creaks, but what part of the SS do you think is going to squeak or creak besides the sunroof? I'll admit that the door panels are for the birds, but the rest of the interior doesn't bother me enough to go spend another 10K on a car. If you're going to spend 28K on a WRX, just get a used BMW 3 series with leather. Now, THERE'S a nice interior.

Buying a WRX for the interior is like buying a Hummer for the cornering.

Wow our cars smacked the sti around the nurburg, and if it can't handle better our cars in the canyons wits the point, a stock TC I believe can beat a Stock Wrx and when u add bolt on's we beat the sti. On top of that when we mod our cars n sti's mod their cars I think they playin catch up to us. I love the sti wagon thinkin will get one but not to replace my SS, but to make the compromise for ur family I would say yes unless u can get a ss sedan..

WRX interior isn't much better, neither is the Evo. I like the styling of both much better, but that's just personal preference.

You don't pay extra for an interior. The extra cost of the car is in their AWD system, and motor, brakes, wheels, etc.

Also like those. I like just about any quick wagon though.

when you add bolt ons... You can do that to both cars. It's only logical to compare them stock, otherwise it's just a matter of who has more money.

The new mazdas I like and I can't front the older sti's, like the 2005-2007 love those body styles. Stock i think the TC can hang with a stock Sti either way I DNt think the Wrx is a step above our cars it could be a step bac.

Those are nice looking cars imo. Not the fastest thing around but good performance, good looking, and reasonably family friendly.
