Traction control memory button.

Sick of having to push your TC button twice to get to Comp mode? Don't have 10 seconds to waste holding it to turn off ESC? Forget to turn TC off at the track? If so, listen up.

I contacted a company by the name of KPTechnologies about a memory switch they make for traction control buttons. The problem is, their current one will not work with our type of switch. BUT, if I can stir up 20 people's interest in the product, they will develop one. They said it is possible to make one, but a custom, one off would cost $300. If I can get 20 people, the cost will be around $45.

What this will do is remember the last way you had the switch, for instance, you like driving around in comp mode, if you turn your car off in comp mode, it will be in comp mode when you start it, then of course, you will still be able to turn on traction control with another push of the button, or turn ESC off the same way. Or, if you like driving with no nanny, you turn ESC off, turn the car off, and it will be that way when you turn it on, etc...

So, you know what to do, let's start a list:

That they do. I have been following their stuff since my 350Z days... Never heard many complaints, and the ones i heard were easily taken care of by the company, hence why I turned to them to develop this.

It should not be that hard we are talking 12v DC here nothing too involved or dangerous.

Its not horrible, and they are very good at instructing you how to do it. The instructions I read over for their normal one were very straight forward, and they even had the wire colors on there for you, so I know the instructions will be great. Plus, you should definitely take your time with it, or if you aren't comfortable doing it, take it to a shop you trust. It shouldn't cost much to have it installed, I would bet an hour max of labor.

ANYONE ELSE?!?!?! Come on people! I know this is one of the bigger gripes of the car, so there HAS to be 20 people interested. $45 is a nice cheap mod!!!

Their normal traction control memory button will work for that, i believe. Basically, that one will take any switch that resets in the car, and add a memory to it. Of course, the wiring would be all different for the fog light switch. I am going to buy one to add to the fog light switch, so I will try to do a write up with some good pics.

How can I stir up more interest in this?!!? I only have 2 people on the list, and I know there are 18 more interested... I just need your names on the list!

I don't have traction control, but the fog light memory switch caught my interest. For $45? sure.

The person I emailed at KP said it would only be around $45, so you would be looking at a high end of $60 shipped I would say.

2)Dthomp2366
3)Nikemax21
4) idlingmike

With the amount of potential this has to sell (IDK why I am having trouble getting interest), I doubt they will jack the price up. Also, they really do enough electronic work, that I think this will end up being a piece of cake for them.
