Traded in 09SS/TC

so yeah traded in the SS/TC. kinda had no choice. my GF still was unable to find a car and with winter drawing near had to give her my winter car, and didt want to drive the SS in the winter. So i traded it in for a 4.8L V8 Chevy Silverado w 4x4 extended cab. So now i should be good for the winter. Im already ordering the magnaflow Cat-Back dual rear exit exhaust for it and a K&N Air intake to get me started. Then i just gotta work on some nice off-road tires for muddin lol.

Well I hope you made the best decision for your situation...

I have to agree with some other comments here though....Why not just buy snow tires and keep the SS/TC?....You must have taken a huge hit on the trade in value so it doesnt seem like the most cost effective move.....but either way, good luck to you.

You'd have to know the kid. He once spent $1200 on a nitrous setup for the color purged...and then never sprayed the car.

I learned how to drive a stick on my 09 tc and drove it through a michigan winter last year with half tread stock Contis.

What a horrible decision you made sir. Man up

for the money you lost on trade in, you could have bought a sweet set of snow tires with rims. Fyi, these things are tanks with good snow tires. On top of the snow tires, you probably could have bought 2 nice bolt on mods.

Fyi, here in michigan, its always the 4x4 trucks u see in the ditches come winter time.

Yea the winters suck up here, but my cobalt drives really well with snows on though :p Wish I had a winter beater, and then an actual garage to store my balt in lol

You just lost way more than $1000 by trading in your 09 SS/TC. Oh but you have enough money leftover to mod the new truck.

Negative equity ftl

again, why not just buy winter tires for it? would have been fine. my buddy left his truck at work and drove home with me a few times last year in the cobalt, and we live on top of a mountain.
