Question Trifect Tune Q?

i just got my Trifecta tune last week and its been a great add on, tho when i took it to the track, ran consistant 14.1's (with 20+mph winds) and it seems as if the no lift shift isnt working, it seems as if the turbo lags out between shifts not as decribed by people as the tires cant grip mine is just normal boost and then ramps up to 20 psi quickly. im not shure if its just my driveing or if there was an error made by my laptop wanting to restart the whole time i was flashing. tho if i were to go drive it down the road and drive it as i would at the track its boosting 20psi the whole time. its weird. wanting to make video to explain better

Im on 22 psi without any other mods and i have no bog on NLS, i experience NLS problems with too cold weather though.. but not what you describe.

At what rpm you shift gears?
What tune you got?

I have no issues with my tune and the NLS. Maybe you're missing the NLS?

Also have a muffler delete. Sounds great and doesn't harm your warrenty one bit.

I would do the following in this order if I were you:

a) Flash back to stock and then reinstall the tune.
b) If problem persists make sure you do some datalogs with Vince@Trifecta

A Trifecta tuned car should easily be running 13's something must be wrong with the tune/car or your a bad driver (no offense).

And no a muffler delete is nothing like a DP. A muffler delete will not yield you any more power at all just more noise, the big restriction on our cars exhaust is the downpipe. about 5 1/2 rpm, the trifecta infiniboost.

as for trap times im un shure. i tossed out the slips by accedent.

the directions to the install say dont interrupt, would my computer wanting to restart its self the entire time it was flashing have caused an issue.

i dont have the cable to do a reflash, was thinking i should have kept them for a week to see if it had issues.

Agree with the statement, cats are most restrictive, downpipe will help! I did muffler delete, warranty is fine. Does sound very good for such a cheap mod. I recommend it if you just want something temporary for good sound. Performance wont really gain much of anything. Intake, charge piping, downpipe, tune... good mods!!

Sure, it's listed under Contact Us on his website:

vince@trifectaperformance.com

If you hover the mouse over the link, it'll tell you what it is even if you don't have Outlook.

Try shifting right at 6k. Did you just load the tune and send the cable back or did you do through the tweaking process?? Im running 22/23 and it took like 4 tweaks to get it right.

5500 RPM's is a bit early when your Stock redline is 6250, and vinces tune is 6500-7K depending on what you ask for.

Agreed. Even if your limiter was raised to 6500 the 'sweet spot' seems to be right at 6k. I NLS all the time and it works perfectly for me. It did not however work as well when I tried NLS at the higher rev limit. I guess it takes a little more preciseness at the higher numbers and I just didnt have the 'right stuff'. So Im back to 6k and it pops every time
