valve cover torque specs

Anybody know the torque specs? I've heard 82 inch pounds. I replaced the gasket like 11 days ago. I didn't have a small enough torque wrench so I just tighten it to what felt good I guess. I have one now and I checked them and it seems all the bolts are at like 31-32 inch pounds. Is this fine? To make sure no oil was leaking out, I ran a qtip across the outer part of gasket along the entire seam and the qtip was 100% clean.
I feel I should leave it be but what do you guys think.

Knowing GM it's 89in/lbs since everything else on these motors are 89in/lbs. Tighten them up a bit more and call it good, given you have the proper torque wrench just go to 60in/lbs unless someone chimes in with the proper spec

its 89in/lb, just get them snug using a 1/4" drive socket wrench holding halfway up the handle.

thanks all, going to go torque them down right now.

DO NOT over torque them lol. I wouldn't even use an actual torque wrench for these. Just lightly oil the gasket and snug up all the bolts tight but not too tight...I read the specs wrong and snapped 2 last year😒

He said he has the proper torque wrench for in/lbs and the spec is 89in/lbs which is way less than 89ft/lbs

I'm just giving a heads up dude...

Yeah big difference if you do 89ft/lbs instead of 89in/lbs

I just give them one ooga-dooga with my M12 milwakee ratchet tool. Best thing I ever bought when it comes to working on cars or in tight spaces in general. Helped with many nuts and bolts that were in a spot you could hardly get 1/8" turn with regular ratchet and with this tool just zipped them right off.

I need one of those
