Warm weather = Sluggish Car
Anyone else think they lost 30 WHP since the hot weather has started ? My car feels like it lost a ton of power ..... desn't even want to spin in 2nd from a 40 roll anymore 8( How are your cars in 90+ degree heat? .... and do you think a better intercooler would make any difference. thx

Stock IC is pretty efficient actually. My IAT2s are about the same with my stock IC vs the Synapse IC.

My car runs like **** ! 4000 rpm falls on its face I just have Kn drop in, but its been running rough for a couple weeks now. I have been spiking to 20psi so i guess it could be trying to make up for it.. I have tried several things but still runs like crap might have boost leak i don't know???

Here in Puerto Rico its most of the time above 90's so I basically never had the opportunity to test it on colder weather :^( It really sucks especially when it gets 94ish to 100+ you can really feel the car really get sluggish

Nope I don't have a Knock PID to monitor but i can (and do) watch timing with my Superchips Cortex.... I've only seen negative timing when i let off the gas ... never under throttle . Would i see negative numbers if it was knock ..... or would i lose a few degrees of timing ? It's hard to keep track of ... guess i'll have to log it when it's cool out for a baseline .... then again when it's hot .

I thought I was the only one . 60F and below it runs like a raped ape , anything higher and it is a enormous difference . 15% humidity normal here so I can't speak for that.

The hotter the weather, the more KR I seem to see in the 3500-4000 rpm range (sometimes a tad higher) for my car. These motors seem particularly sensative to IAT's, more so than others

Warmer air also means less O2 concentration (lower density) and less power as a result.
Sometimes. I log mine everyday just to make sure everything is all good. I am running more timing now in 96*+ temps than in winter LOL. Summer gas is far better than winter blend.
