Idc if it fits like shit lol. Worth the function and quality to me. They make really nice aftermarket parts and the welds are nice and it feels sturdy. Plus I like how it looks. I've gotten compliments on it from all my friends. My one friend actually bought a tr10 for his cressida cause he saw how nice my intercooler was.

Just go with zzp and call it a day, or the tr 10 it's his money in the end lol
|
For the love of god, don't buy Treadstones

Calling a spade a spade.

Treadstone sucks
|
Id like to see zzps core density, because for the price, a treadstone is one of the nicest cores you can buy. After garrett and precision of course.

Honestly I'm sure they all function just as well as one another. I just said treadstone because that's what I have and I like it and I'm happy with it. No ones bashing zzp intercooler. A bigger intercooler just doesn't get heat soaked as fast as a smaller one would because there's more surface area to disperse more heat so you can do more consistent pulls.
|
nothing is as good as a bell core hands down for all those that wanna debate the topic. i have the only bell core on a cobalt intercooler. iat readings on a 77 degree night after beating it on the dyno with no fans on and doing a few more pulls showed temps 4-6 degrees above ambiant. i have sensors pre and post intercooler. my core costs almost as much as zzps entire intercooler at vendor cost.
the zzp is the best ive logged for the money. and a bigger core doesnt mean its going to cool better or work better. same with using cast end tanks vs fabricated end tanks. its all about fin density, pressure drop, and size for setup, end tank design. air velocity entering and exiting the core etc etc |
