Condition of body depending... but I'd guess 12k at most?

Somewhere in the 11-12k range for good condition according to kbb and nada. What do they go for in your area? Surely someone in the Detroit area has on for sale for reference.

hes probably talking about Powells Sub-frame connectors. the ones that bolt into the frame and make it more sturdy.

I'm thinking you could get between 9 & 10K for it. The sad thing is these cars have a low resale on them.

No, powell has subframe connectors.

With that being said, 10k is the mark you want to acheive.

I often feel bad for the people that paid full retail on Cobalts.

18k OTD for an 09 with 88 miles on it. 2500 left on the note. First car i will likely make money off of.

its worth whatever you feel it'd be worth to you... granted what you say its worth and what someone will pay for it generally dont match....

take my saturn for example a guy at work wants it for his sisters first car... he said $1000 i said no to me, its worth much more than that, because it is what it is to me.. granted on paper not worth the $1000 he offered hah

I purchased them from URC, they were very popular in Ions and I got one of the last sets they produced.

Thanks for the replies,
I told the interested buyer I will keep it.
There are no other affordable cars out there that I want.

That is the wall I'm about to run into.

It is hard for me to not want to sell this car and make some money off of it. On the other hand, there isn't much like it and it's a freaking blast to drive. I'm getting a but scared about required maintenance soon, but that's just part of it I guess.

I am familiar with GM products and I qualify for GM discount so I partial to GM vehicles. The only car i really like is the new ATS but it starts out at $33,000. The next camaro will be on the same platform as the ATS so it will weigh less but thats not till 2015.
I tossed around the idea of a Cruze ECO or a Cruze Diesel as fuel will only be more expensive but they lack the fun factor our cars have.

Cruze is not the solution. It feels like stepping back into a base cobalt. Not even close in fun

We're seeing over 400HP at the crank on an E85 tune with the new ATS/Malibu turbo engine. The LTG is one sick engine

i already know if i get another car it'll be a G8 GXP or GTO 6.0 nothing else at the moment gets me going

Unless an incredibly clean, unmolested FD RX 7 pops up.... or a nice 96 Supra

It's worth whatever you can sucker someone into buying it for. That's how dealerships work.

I have always said the downfall of our cobalts is that they are not RWD or AWD. The ATS has a 3.6 that makes 320hp and AWD is available which would be a great package, however that is $44,xxx! Too much money.
I am looking forward to seeing a V version of the ATS. I have seen vidos of a Twin turbo v6 that was in testing.

completely agree! BUT it definitely was and still is one of the best bangs for the buck no doubt. i still dont see cars out there as quick as the SS/TC stock for stock and same price range. the ST would be the next closest thing and its meh at best lol. overhyped. FRS and BRZ? needs boost then maybe, but with boost there goes that 25k price tag. smh.

I agree with you as well. I like the focus ST, but its too much difference in money to justify a 4 year newer car that is similar in performance, size, and function.
