So I've had my second ss/tc sedan for about 6 monts now and it came with a gms1 tune, I've heard of people hitting 21 psi and holding but was wondering at what rpm are you supposed to be at 21 psi. I hit 18 psi and then it bumps up to 21 over 4k rpm and then falls off at about 5500 rpm

 

What I mean is that just like the stock tuning, GMS1 will vary boost (not sure what max is ) depending upon atmospheric conditions to hit it's desired power level.

So, some days you might see peaks of 22, some days 20, etc.

That being said, this morning I did a second gear romp and it seemed like it was holding around 21 for as long as I was in the gas - I was watching the gauge and not so much the RPM's so I am not sure where I was when I let off.

I am sure others will chime in on this .

Yeah GMS1 will hit 25 psi under certain conditions. It should hit full boost around 3500 or 4000 rpm.

 

Im at 1900ft and I do 21 no matter what conditions and my boost comes on full at 2600 in second 15 at 2000.

 

i think its our turbos running out of breath up top. i have a HPTune and i spike at 27lbs and falls off over 5k and settles at 21lbs, do you have an aftermarket IC? my boy had a stock intercooler holding 25lbs and once we installed his turbo XS IC he now has the issue we have.
