wow wtf is going on in here? so the dude wants a back up thingy ma-boper, either help him or find another thread
..our cars are not the easiest to see out of in the first place, and i have the lo spoiler , not the whale tail, so it would be even harder for him, maybe he has neck problems where its harder to see behind him, or a depth perception problem..
just cause he wants to add somthing to his car to make driving easier dosnt make him a bad driver or lazy automatically
what a bunch of asses
and for the o.p., you dont need to be an ass about it either

I saw some different posts on here that mention backup cameras. I do't know about them all, but the wal-mart back up camera for 100 bucks you DO NOT want. My boss had it on his work van and it is wireless and blocked his Bluetooth from working. So i'd check the reviews on the camera's if you go that route

truer words have never been spoken. it was not my original intent to be that way, though it is sadly where it ended up. i got the information i needed though, so all is good.
i will make sure in the future to make up some story so everyone will be cool with it....like say:

to be fair you got some ppls opinions about reverse sensors, which were they feel are unnecessary if you look out your back window
some ppl were just a little harsh in giving there opinions

No you are not all adults, I wish you were. Once you become an adult you stop attacking people just because you dont agree with them, that kind of action is what kids do. As you age you realize that people have a difference of opinion and it is that difference that makes things great. Now that does not mean that you will not defend yourself when attacked, but most folks would rather get along with others than start fights.
I was very clear on what I was looking for, which incase you missed it was ideas/suggestions/opinions about reverse sensors, not ideas/suggestions/opinions about rather I know how to drive or not.
I do not need anyone to hold my hand, I did not ask you to install one for me, tell me how to install one, or even where to get one installed. I simply asked if anyone here had experience with one and if so what they would recommend (and YOU have none...which beckons the question 'why did YOU reply to this post'?).
I have NO experience installing these sensors to a car, so I figured I would seek out those that might. Given that this is basically a "how to modify your Cobalt to do X" type website it seemed the right place. I would rather seek advise on how to do something, esp when I have never done something like this before, than try it myself and f*ck the whole thing up. I figured someone on here had some experience with these things and could tell me what to avoid (as post #53 does).
You will see once you get a little older that you do not know everything and you will seek out those that know more than you do. Didn't we discuss this kinda talk? Anyways, regarding the thread, next time use your wording better when asking for help. Telling us that you can't back up w/o a reverse sensor in a compact coupe isn't going to get you much help in an enthusiast site like ours.

Yes I probably got defensive, probably too defensive, but as ive said too many times already, i came here for help to modify my car and thought that a website like this was a good place to come. I did not expect to get attacked, and I was attacked, by a bunch of people because they dont like the nature of the modification.

try to rent a driver. for 15 $ bucks an hours, if you pay de gaz, i can beat ur rig 12 hours a day.

I'd suggest getting another Ford pickup with that annoying beep.

true enough. However if you look at my second or third post I specifically asked people to only comment on sensors if they had experience with them. I realized where this would end up and figured that if everyone would eliminate their "feelings" about sensors that I would end up with some good suggestions.

Tell you what, I will come over to Madison this weekend, we can get a shake, go to the drag strip, play some PS3 and enjoy the weekend. I used to live in Nashville so I roughly know where Madison is.
