Blank mid tier rotors and OEM pads. The expensive ones not the cheap ones.

ONLY OEM for both rotors and pads. All after market street pads, especially Hawk HPS are a SERIOUS downgrade from stock. Get the Ferrodo pads and GM rotors.
Here are the links to the cheapest place to buy them:

Front rotors:

Front pads:

R1Concepts in the Supporting Vendor section of this forum has some good deals on rotors and pads. Contact R1concepts.

also if your just doing OEM blanks, get any of the ones from Wagner, ACDelco, Monroe, NAPA, Centric, Raybestos rotors on rockauto.com.

The OEM pads are the best BUT.... if your not tracking the car, who cares. All the pads will stop the car pretty well. Get whatever you want. Power Stop, EBC, R1Concepts, Hawk....

There are power stop pad and rotor kits on Rockauto.com and again contact R1concepts, they have good stuff. Their Eline series are pretty decent.

Just to let you know: The OEM Brembo pads are extremely expensive for brake pads. I got a deal on Amazon.com for $135 I think. Normally they are $250 just for front pads.
I picked up this kit on Amazon.com from R1Concepts. Comes with ceramic pads they make. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I believe R1Concepts was able to get me this same kit for $250 if I had contacted them first on the forum. Thats a complete front and rear pad and rotor kit.

Did some due dilligence. R1Concept FRONT blank rotors and semi metalic ceramic pads. --> https://www.amazon.com/FRONT-Replace...%3AR1+Concepts

The Amazon link I posted above sells the OEM pads for $138 shipped. Have been for years. Trust me that is cheap compared to the Hawk race pads I'm running. These are genuine OEM Ferrodo/Brembo pads. I have ordered from them myself.

yeah I ordered them as well. I have them on my car now. If you were to go to GM guine parts dealer, they'd be $250. The dealership even quoted me that.

Any input on doing stainless lines while at it? Never new stock pads were the way to go, and now wondering if getting stainless would be worth it....

Stock pads and rotors. Stainless lines. Upgrade to DOT4 fluid and you are pretty set

Stainless lines make a big difference if you tax your brakes a lot. Brake pedal feel is a lot firmer especially when you really warm up your brakes. I run ZZP's braided SS lines:

Nice, I remember in my 2.2 they made a huge difference. I'll definitely pick some up when I do my brakes soon, thanks!
