Brakes

Going to be replacing by brakes. I have a couple of questions. 1 what all do I need to get.
Been looking at zzp slotted and drilled rotors and the front hawk break pads.
Do I need to buy the brembo calipers also?
And is it OK to just do the front for now, and the rear later, these brembo brakes are expensive lol?
Is this something a noob can install or should I take it to the shop?

People will say buy OEM rotors and Hawk HPS pads. Lets hear from other members though.

You shouldn't need to replace the brembos unless they are in bad shape, stock pads and rotors are recommended here. You can do the front now and rears later (depending on wear I would recommend to do all 4 at the same time)

Not to be a Jerk but are you sure of doing the work yourself? You don't sound very knowledgeable about the change, even tho yes changing brakes is pretty simple

No not knowledgeable about changing them, but we all start out as noobies right. If it's not difficult I'm sure I could do them. Utube videos I'm sure they are out there haha. Google also.

Would the zzp drilled n slotted rotors and hawk break pads work? Or is there a cheaper way to go but with same performance? Or where would I get the original parts from? Thx. Anything else u think I need?

They should work but nothing beats the stocks and I've heard amazon is the cheapest for the oem parts. I haven't tried the zzp ones but I will be needing to change my brakes pretty soon

stock rotors, don't get slotted or drilled, that's just a gimmick. stock rotors, stock front pads, hawk rear pads. don't forget to lub the push pins in the back. amazon has the cheapest brake parts as far as I know.

I made it 55k miles on stock front pads and rotors two different times. The stock front pads are amazing. But they do dust a lot.

As was said before, get stock rotors and stock pads. Drilled rotors crack. Slotted are OK, but none will work better than the stock ones. Hawk HPS pads are a downgrade in my experience. Here ae the links to the cheapest place to buy them:

i agree with snail... stock pads and rotors are failsafe and awesome performers. less brake dust is nice but i think you sacrifice a bit of performance!

i got 70,000km out of my stock front pads and rotors! great life too!
