interesting....guess we will have to see if this happens. on the larger turbos swapping to the batmowheel yields some nice gains. to get to the 375-400whp range for $400 would be something.....that is if this does what it is thought to do.

calling them tomorrow morning to get final details. the price for the wheel itself is $399. and i bet they would waive installation/balancing costs if we showed them 10 people would buy after these first two are made.

and like stated in the original post. if no gains are found. the two test cars will be given a full refund sans shipping.

since i've had the stock turbo, now the BNR then the potential at a k04 batmo.. even though im running a 2.4 the only thing it will do is stress test the turbo more ( ie run out of breath sooner) the stock turbo was like an NA v8 lol smash with trq but cant rev too high lol the BNR definitely holds boost/ power much better then the stock turbo .. I would be interested in how it would perform and depending on all specs if nothing else would be interested in a batmo 2871 setup .. that might be something thats huge for me.. esp for 350 .. but i'm not tearing down my current turbo .. i mean **** .. if i sent them my busted one.. they sent it back.. with the wheel installed i could install that then send them my bnr to try the same thing with .. if they work out then there would be 2 product lines
PM sent

I have a wheel I can send in off one of my core turbos but need a spare to replace it

I don't understand, so we have to disassemble our turbo put this wheel in and then reassemble? That sucks kind of. Well I guess not to someone that knows what they're doing.

It's almost impossible for most on here because it's our DD. I would jump on this if I had a spare turbo though.

Alright guys. just got off the phone with David. Price of a batmowheel is $399+shipping. if you send them your turbo, there will be no charge for installation and balancing. It IS a drop in upgrade so if you'd like, you can just order the wheel and install it yourself. He will include instructions on how to properly install it. however, i would still recommend sending it in. reason being, if your turbine wheel is off balance slightly, when this wheel is installed, it(batmowheel) will be off blance.

Turn around time for this first batch for the two test cars will be 4-5 weeks. After that it will be made in a shorter amount of time, that 4-5 weeks is design R&D and machining. If you'd like to purchase a wheel upfront before testing is done, there will be no refund if gains are not shown, thats the reason why we have the test cars.

i definitely see 380whp happening on a fully bolted setup. BYT already took the stock turbo to 400 milking it for all its worth and then some. on race gas or e98. i see 400 happening for everyone.

david said they have yet to have a batmo not produce results

For the minimal cost of this wheel, that would be awesome.

and even if its 20-30whp and proportional torque, you could still hit 400whp. beats $2k for a turbo swap...

Do they already have a batmowheel for a gt2871r? I think that will fit since the compressor and housing are the same on the bnr.
