Car hard to start after filling up with gas
Ever since I got my bov and catless dp followed by a tune, I've had to pump the throttle to get the car started. I think it's due to the evap purge solenoid which is no longer needed/in use and have read this issue is called vapour lock. Anyone have any suggestions?

go head and trust your tuner over guys who know what the hell they are talking about. pretty soon nobody is going to help you because apparently you and your marvelous tuner know it all.

you need your EVAP purge solenoid, its the little black box on your intake manifold in that picture. Take it off, and try blowing into it. if you can blow out air, its bad.

I think hes talking about his boost control solenoid, which is technically not needed after you run a bov. I ran my BOV straight from my intake manifold to the HKS and never had any issues. I had to plug the lower port on the charge piping however

I didn't ask about if before it was disconnected. Also, I found that waiting a few minutes after I fuel up solves the problem. I'll be sure to mention this to my guy though.

just listen to us thats all were asking. that evap purge solenoid is most likely bad. i replaced one but ill be damned if im gonna sit at a gas station for a couple minutes to just start my damn car when its a super cheap fix.

Just to be sure we're on the same page, the solenoid we're talking about used to be beside the vacuum line in the middle of the manifold where those 3 holes are right?

we are talking about the EVAP Purge solenoid. which is the black box in front of that vacuum line.

no problem. the way you have your BOV setup is the correct way.
but like I said before, pull that little black box and see if you can blow into it. if you can and air comes out the other side, its bad and you need a replacement.
