Coil pack issue?

Alright so the last week or so this has happened 3x now and it's been slightly worse each time, wondering if it's happened to anyone else.

So I drive the car wherever and come back home, turn car off and it sits in the garage for 3-5 minutes. I need to go somewhere else so I go start the car back up...and it stutters and chugs and idles really rough for 5 seconds or so and then is fine.

Today I left the car wash, drove about 10 miles to a gas station, filled up the car and when I went to start the car again it did the same thing, car kinda stutters, chugs and strains to keep an idle for 5 seconds and then all is fine.

My '97 Grand Am had a similar problem that got worse over the period of a week or two until finally the car wouldn't start at all, it turned out to be a bad coil pack.

Anyone else had this issue? It doesn't happen EVERY time the car sits for a few minutes and then is turned back on which is why I don't want to go the dealer yet and get the "we can't reproduce it" crap. Once I can reproduce it every time, (or if the car fails to start I guess), I'll take it in but in the mean time...any ideas?

I had one go out but it didn't do that. Mine first started acting up by missing and throwing a CEL under heavy load and boost. Gradually getting worse until the idle was just messed up with a CEL right from start-up. It went from missing under boost to dead in less than 24 hours.

I'm no SAE mechanic or anything. Having said that the first thing that pops into my mind is a leaky fuel injector. Leaking fuel into the cylinder while sitting.
