Coming back!!

Hey guys, haven't been on here in a while. I had an 09 turbo sedan. Kicking myself in the a$$ past 3 years for selling. Really want to do some track days and I still believe this is one of the best handling cars for the buck... EVER!! A lot has changed as I have done some digging. So... For a stock LNF, what's the hot ticket? Looking for 350hp and even more enhanced handling. Not looking to break the bank. Trifecta gave me around 310 @ 21 psi and my old car was 100% stock other than that. I'm thinking whatever you guys suggest as far as goodies for 350 hp, along with strut brace, good brakes and really sticky tires that have some resilience. Talk to me lol!

305 hp on stock turbo e85 if you feel like pushing it, or just get a k04r and use 91.

305?? You don't really need e85 on a LNF anyway, and it's hard to tune for. E47/93 with full bolts and a good tune will put you right near 350. Or like he said get the k04r and have no problems getting there.

Depending on what is done to the car already. 350 from what I have seen some easily attainable with FBO, E47, and a good tune. Welcome back I did the same I had a 2.4l that I wish I never got rid of, found pretty much the same car only with the Hellnf.

The ko4r is a big wheel stock housing turbo. They machine the housing to make room for a bigger compressor wheel

Ah alright

I'm pretty sure I can handle the HP part, but what about insane handling for the buck?

Isn't a strut tower brace a waste on these cars? I'd get the Powell Hardcore rear sway bar for handling improvement. I've used Carbotech XP10 pads for the track and really liked them. I've been really happy with Hawk DTC70 pads on my M3 and they are a bit more aggressive. For rotors, just use a good plain rotor. Hankook Ventus R-S3 is an outstanding tire.

Engine, and trans mounts for the wheel hop heard a front brace is a waste, but invest in the rear brace

Strut tower brace isnt going to do much. A nice sway bar will help along with yyz springs and koni yellows. You can also go with under car rails. Powell has a bunch of braces available to reduce flex. For brakes if you plan on tracking then you want all oem pads and rotors.

I second that front tower brace is innefective. Rear bar for sure and yyzs

I always thought the stock brakes were pretty damn good... but that good to be reliable on the track?

You can go with a nice slotted (not drilled) rotor if you want, just dont put anything but the stock pads in. They are ferodo hp1000 pads which are pretty much the best avaliable.
