Compression makes me happy!

So i'm always worried about my engine blowing up and was scared to do a compression test in fear of it being bad. I finally got some balls and did the test :guns:

It was 165ish -170ish across the board and the last cylinder i checked was 165ish and was probably cause the battery wasn't cranking as hard. I feel that is pretty good for being at 400+whp for over a year.

Feel free to share your compression check stories.

last compressing check i did, before replacing cyl4s piston was left to right 190,195,185,110 and leaking. lol after the fix, cyl4 had 210 :D

It seems the LSJ's have more compression? You never see the LNF making over 180 and i have seen a few people with LSJ's in the 200's.

Do they have the same pistons?

yeah, whats a normal compression reading for an lnf anyways?

thats just cuz LSJs are better duhhh. not!! i have had shitty luck with my car. i got better compression doing my own piston job then when a "master mechanic" did my engine. fuckin retardedddd and yea i honed the cylinder and gapped the rings and staggard the rings all done by the book

most are 150-160 all cylinders within 10 is good

lsj and lnf dont have same pistons, lnf is direct injection pistons, they head looks different

Awesome, that is always a great feeling!
