Dyno'd Saturday

So i dyno'd my car saturday. It was pretty chilly outside, but I think it did pretty well. The dyno shop guys were all worried my car was running way too lean. but every chevy that dyno'd there they said that. Guess they dont know the LNF lol.

Good results OP.

I'd becareful though as it looks like the clutch said F you on the 2nd pull.

If it's doing that on an unloaded dyno, imagine what it's doing on the streets.

Start saving up or having Term calm down that boost spike.

Did the operator use 3rd or 4th gear?

4th gear on both pulls IIRC

Clutch would have slipped less if he used 3rd but no big deal. Also 4th will show more torque but less hp vs 3rd. There is no true 1:1 ratio on the F-35 trans which is annoying come dyno time. I also richened PE lambda from 0.88 to 0.86 which will take it to 12.7 a/f. Boost is 287 kpa max which at that altitude is 30 psig but the pressure the engine sees is the same as 25 psi at sea level so it is safe for the pistons.

Good numbers! Atleast you can dyno your car -- I'm scared to go with my E85 tune because the clutch slipped just a little on my 93 octane tune. WOT runs in 4th and 5th gear starting below 4000rpm on the streets are a no go for me and result in instant clutch slip to redline. I did that once and never again.

However any other gear holds up to the abuse. I even NLS 2-3 and 3-4 without any slip. Broke an axle at the track last fall launching on drag radials. 60,000 miles, stock clutch, tuned since 41,000 miles. I say stock on the stock clutch as long as you can to prolong the life of the transmission.

Nice.

Getting tuned too. Can't wait now. Sucks this March has been really cold compared to last year, otherwise I'd be enjoying my car. As I type this I look outside and its fricking snowing again.
