F35 question

Does anyone know the specs of the fill and drain plug in the F35 transmission?
The banjo fittings I got for my trans cooler turn out to be the wrong size... Thanks!

Buy GM 55561146 Plug, genuine OEM part

Buy GM 55568847 Plug, genuine OEM part

It looks like both are M18x1.5, at least according to what I could find.

Thank you Tdubbs, that makes sense. I got M14 x 1.5 as the specs and it was too small.
Just ordered the M18

why do you have a trans cooler for the f35? there is no pump to circulate the fluid

This. Its specifically because he road races his car, trying to make the gear set last longer.

Bingo.
It was recommended by Powell and I figure it's a fairly uninvolved way to give the trans some extra protection.

adding a trans cooling system to a car that sees regular road racing is a great way to keep the transmission happy. heat reduces the viscosity and lubricity, and you can end up will galling on the teeth. people would be amazed at how hot a manual transmission can get when road racing.

Just for reference in case anyone else has the same question, M18 x 1.5 was the correct size!
