It sounds to me that there are some ppl that want in now and some others that are waiting for dyno results. I'm just guessing here but I think Matt will get the 5 ppl easy for this buy then do another one after we both get dynoed.

Now im not knocking this k04-r or whatever it is. It sounds like a good, viable option for most, as most are not looking for over 400whp or willing to spend $2k on a turbo. And frankly, I'm happy that someone is offering the community another option for turbo upgrades, it makes competition and that is good for business.

The reason i upgraded to a LSJ 4.05 is bc my LNF 3.82 blew up with the K04 on e47. So Its not that im scared, but the way the torque hits with it coming in smooth at 4000 is also that i don't want to do 50+ mph burnouts = me possibly losing a roll race bc loss of traction. And the ZFR7163 if it ever comes out, will be a great turbo, but i'm not going to be swapping my 6758 for one. There comes a point where you realize that over 450whp is just silly in a FWD street car.

Do a pull on meth too if you could. I'm running 93 and meth with 21* up top so I'd be interested to see fully bolted numbers and then how much help the meth would give.

def seems like an awesome deal! I too am down to see some #'s as well but either way if it performs as good as the k04+ and has relatively the same #'s its still a great buy for some guys who dont have e85 around them like me! All the talk though and from what Matt and KMO have been saying this thing rips. I wanna know what the turbo flows at lbs/min? Either way this thing will def be my next purchase in a couple months!

id buy a used zfr for over one of these for 495 + 150 core - 645 vs ~1000

@08VRSS - lol maybe 450+ on FWD is useless, but gotta keep up with the Jones I d upgrade to the 7163 just to run 480 on pump alone and that would be barely pushing that turbo.

Yeah good point. Well I guess we'll just have to wait for the dyno to see what's going on

I have no idea what the max flow is on either turbo but I can say that I have seen my k04 flow 35 lbs/min when ambient temps are in the 50s and the humidity is low. With how the weather is now, I'm lucky if I see 30 lbs/min

I am planning on only doing one pull on just 94 the rest all on meth because that is how I actually run the car

That is not how a core charge works you pay the $150 up front and get it back when you send your K04 back in.

In the end you pay $495 plus shipping

My numbers are useless right now but Matt on a stock intake with no exhaust made 35.8lbs/min. He has a DP, HP, IC and Panda tuned
