Did ya see what Wangspeed does with it?

I don't use an oil pan when I change my oil. I put a hose on this, and put it straight into an oil recycle container

[QUOTE=05Slowline;5335414]someone could do that with a socket and wrench anywhere.........[/QUOTE

but why when you can just flip a switch...
(using a socket would take too much time.)

Not too much to it. It's a cheap and easy change. I put one on 3 vehicles that I've had now. The only catch is that you should get extra washers so you can make sure the handle angles away from the ground.

Oh, but don't get this if you live in Cincinnati, where they like to steal used oil.

bro are you retarded or autistic or just slow that it takes you too much time to turn a wrench and socket, it takes 10 seconds to get an oil plug off 15 if you count getting on the ground. if someone really wanted to drain your oil on you
1. they'll do it one way or another
2. you will see oil on the ground
3. who the **** does that

it would be easier to simply slash someones tires, or key their car than to drain their oil come on.

These things are way easier. To use. And way way way cleaner. No mess at all from the drain plug getting oil all over your arm if you aren't paying attention. I have one on my diesel truck when I do a change on this car I will get one too. Seriously the guy sthat think this is a dumb idea just try a change with it once. If you don't like it I will buy it off of you.

What do people normally do with there spent oil on here? Thats the one thing that really prevents me from wanting to do my own oil changes.

bring it to Autozone. or check Craigslist. there's probably a shop near you that burns old oil for heat.

Local dump has oil recycling/disposal. Also, most states require that oil change places also take used oil, though they may charge for it. I just collect a few changes from my Cobalt and Duramax, and take it to the dump.

Any idea what size washer ypu goylt and how many. I installed the fumoto last oil change and had less than a qt left when I changed it this time and then i cheanged it again this weekend and there is no oil left at all. I did the paper filters but dont think that will work for me.

Also have a feeling oil was coming up from the oil filter area i dont know if I put the rubber gasket on wrong or didnt tighten it enough.

Will be redoing oil change friday any suggestions on getting the valve + adapter with no leaks.

Highly doubtful that the valve is leaking, even if you used the non-metal washer. You would have a huge mess on the underside of the car and on the driveway if it was.

Look for other sources of oil leaking, or oil burning.

Sory i left out that there was a small puddle under the car once I noticed the engine light but even more I saw what I assume is oil all around the filter. I have smelled the burning oil thing latel6 so we will see if this fixes it.
