Hahn SS/TC hits 12's!
I think I mat pickup the intake from you bill when it comes out.
My underhood needs a bit of "bling", it looks way too stock when I open the hood.
Just hope it plays well with the ppc, and kicks no codes?

Nice tell him he should of went to the Intel world of things, 1N0 or 1N1 because thats where the money is right now. Then if he reenlist after his four years then he could get a bonus of $40k to $90k depending on his rank and how many years. But his job isn't bad at all. If he isn't trying to get married right away tell your boy to do a 1 year remote to Korea out the back. its fun out there and it will get it out of the way. I would of done that if I wasn't married when I joined. Its going to be hard with a wife and a 2 year old if they tell me I have to go for a 1 year now. Also tell him not to go all Gun ho and sign up for 6 years. Just sign for 4 years and if he likes it then reenlist. Also if he just doesn't like the area then after 3 years he can put in for a Base of Preference since he will be a First Term Airman. Let me know if you want me to give you guys a call and give him the 411 on what to expect for boot camp and tech school. There might be some things that they might of not told him.

I must say, I've been really gratified by the reaching out of servicepeople and others who have service-related experience once they learn Adam has joined up. You folks are a very tight-knit group, and I am very impressed with your willingness to help! I've always been an admirer of military service, and came veeery close to joining up myself back in the day.
As for 11's, I'd say we will be there early next year. It took us a few months to get our SRT-4 to go 11.86 on street tires (I resisted the urge to put slicks on it to maintain that 'street' cred). We are applying a similar formula to our Cobalt TC development program, and will have the additional advantage of our many years of Ecotec turbo experience to back it up.
For what it's worth, we were ringers with our SRT-4 too, for we'd gotten our own Neon street car into the ten-second range years before an SRT-4 even existed!

The timer starts as soon as you roll out. Reaction time has nothing to do with over all 1/4 mile time. If that were the case there would be alot more 10 and 11 sec bone stock rides out there. So if you take off lets say with a -5 sec RT or sit there for five minutes, the 1/4 mile time will only start when you roll out of the Staging beams.
just wondering.....this may be a noobish question but im pretty ignorant when it comes to dragging. but anyways, in that first slip where the 1/4 mile time is under 13, the reaction time is negative....meaning u started too soon. wouldnt that throw the actual 1/4 time off? if thats so, the time isnt quite a 12 yet, right?
Wollis1, yes, that's a noobish question...lol (just bustin' your *****). red2001ss has it right. The reaction time is for racing purposes only -- to see if you had a good "reaction time" off the light -- like a street race. Your ET is based off of when you leave the gate. If you're just testing and tuning you could sit at the light for 3 seconds, gather yourself to get that perfect launch and still run a 12.
Thanks!
