that would be either ur evap purge solenoid on the intake manifold or the evap vent solenoid on the tank itself. they malfunction sometimes and stay stuck open allowing gas fumes from your tank to enter the manifold making it hard to start initially. happened twice to me already in a year (i believe its from the meth), anyways dealership fixed it for free even with all my mods.

dont worry much about as its only right once you start the car and for about 20 seconds the afrs bounce all over the place. dont know about your tank level indicator tho...

gms also have a huge problem with evap solenoids haha looks like u got the full brunt of it. could be a lot worse like differentials or main seals like some other manufacturers have problems with...

just leave it alone until u go to the dealership. again, it doesnt affect driving at all only that initial startup once the gas cap has been open

The gas gauge on my cobalt was dying/fucked up before I sold it, got quoted 400$ just to fix it, just use the trip counter for your miles

the evap purge selenoid is only like $20 or so if you don't feel like going to the dealer and waiting on them and it literally takes like 2 seconds to switch out

had my friend bring me one changed it in a parking lot, but like everyone else is saying it will only give you trouble when filling up, i noticed mine if i didn't let it go all the way down to empty it would start right up

reading is good for u man. i have way more mods than you most likely with an unlocked ecm and they still have to fix it because the malfunctioning part is not related to my modifications (magnusson-moss act). so go to the dealership and tell them...
