hey guys thinking of going E85 need input
Depending on your elevation, you may not be able to run full e85 without cams. E47 would probably be in your best interest and you'd have the same gains as full E85. You would be doing half and half with E85 and 93.
pros: essentially free HP.. 28% less efficient but most places it's close to a dollar cheaper. so it works out to paying basically the same for the same amount of miles you just have to goto the pump more often.. (keep in mind you'll only be able to run a blend so that could potentially be a con if you dont know how to figure it out correctly)

A blend (particularly e47) would definitely net the best gains for you with the stock fuel system. Like others have said, straight e85 can just be too taxing on the fuel system to be worth it. A blend however can be an absolute pain in the ass at times.. lol. I do miss being able to just pull up to any gas station (e85 or 93) and just pumping till the tank is full and being on my way. The power is just too nice to give up though!

The most I could go without running out of fuel was 10.5 gallons E85 to 2 gallons 91 about 84% E85. It ran out of fuel once, at a low RPM/high load pull. I Run e47 seems to work well and easy to figure out.
Running full E85 wasn't an option for me because I would always get the low fuel rail pressure code in 4th gear. Running E47 is a pain to keep the mix just right.
Bottom line: If you daily-drive your car, don't live within 20 miles of the pump, and take road trips over 300 miles at a pretty good pace, I wouldn't recommend Ethanol for you.

I live in New England and I've never really had any issues. I had a lopie idle for a few secondsaftern a REALLY cold night (like -15° or so) but other than that it was fine
It really depends on the car, but for the most part you usually have to sacrifice some boost in order to run for e85. At that point, why even bother when you make more hp with e47?
