are these both stock parts from the lnf?
if so, then I can see why some cars have issues and others don't running higher boost levels with e85.
glad i lucked out.

Sorry about that, I posted in the wrong forum first. Yes, that is the high pressure fuel pump.

Actually they are off a different engine but they may fit on the LNF. The one on the left is the stock part, the one of the right is a larger swap-in part.

Well, hopefully solve all the fueling problems on the LNF. ;-) We'll see, I'm not even sure if it will fit yet, but I thought I'd throw a teaser out there. ;-)

Maybe elaborate ya tease?

Is this out of a regal by any chance? How much more pressure can it produce?

::edit:: I just saw your "other" post in the LNF Tech section.

No, the Regal (LHU) has the same HPFP as the LNF from what I've been told.

I don't know much yet, but I do know if you install this pump in place of the one on the left it causes high rail pressure codes.

So where did this come from then, and what have you tested so far?

You have my attention!

I'm sworn to secrecy and I'm not sure it will even work on the LNF yet, but I have one on its way to me.

The inlet is in a different location than the LNF's HPFP, but I don't think it's a deal breaker.

Saw some of these on Ebay. I think the come off of the DI 3.6 and 2.4. I think they will fit but some fuel line tweaking would be in order.

Kinda wondering if we should try getting the rail and injectors too. If its gonna throw high rail pressure codes, maybe the injectors and rail it's mated to stock ( on the 2.4?) would work for us. That would suck to blow a rail or something from too much pressure bc ours is too small.

...if they aren't the same at least...

I would think that a high rail pressure code is only relative to the programming since it is expecting one output but seeing another due to the larger pump, and not necessarily an indication that the rail can't handle the pressure.
