Nice! Kind of think it's weird when you first hit it and it goes from 2500-5,000 instantly but I don't hear any spin? Tach reading slow?

Nice vid! Are you using a GoPro and just sticking it just inside the steering column or you have a different setup?

Sounds like he blips the throttle, drops into 3rd and then goes WOT.

Car runs hard Tom!

Ya I blipped it and its a lighter fw so it revs up quick. I didnt get wheel spin it was too warm and only 12 degrees timing so didnt make full power. If it would have been 5 degrees cooler id gave spun.

And yes I got a go pro . stuck it to column

So...updates. Thanks to Jason, who discovered the powell v3 setup does not work properly with a big turbo setup, I checked my setup and and sure enough at idle the turbo doesn't create enough vacuum to vent the crank case, so u have pressure at idle, which is why I burned oil since last change. my separator itself had a bad seal and just looked like crap so I put a spare one in. I am working on a solution to this issue, im gonna try it out and let u guys know how it works.

also Im getting some ethanol this next week so I will be doing an e30 or 40 tune soon.

Powell should come up with a solution. Wonder if Adrian is aware of this?
E30 or 40 will really help.

ok so I discovered an issue with the ati super damper underdrive pulley for our car. seems like it underdrives the alternator a little to much. 12 % to be exact.. this is fine when ur not using ac, u get about 14v....which sometimes drops a little and im sure is the reason I keep getting random knock. but once u use ac, volts drop to 13.5 and I get **** tons of knock especially at low speed driving. like up to 10 degrees on light throttle. this goes away as soon as ac is turned off. so I need a solution to this. anyone know of an alternator overdrive pulley that will do around 12 percent or something that will fix this?

ya no. That wont really help the issue. If fans come on from warm coolant it will do same thing.

Does our alternator have a press on pulley? If so you could swap that out. Never had one apart on the cobalt. Used to do those things a lot on small block chevys.

My new mishimoto catch cans and setup....no more crank case pressure at idle boys. Still gotta test while driving but should work fine.

Little update. System did not work as it is. Got tons of crank case pressure after car was warm. Based on mine and mr jasons trials it seems with heavy mods like we have you have to either heavily mod the pcv system.....ill see if Jason wants to share what he did. Or run a oil cap vent along with the dual cans. I'm gonna try bigger ports first but thats what its looking like it will be in the end
