Well I think I'll start this since I'm doing a new build. Will probably be slow updating but whatever. I'll take a few pics to start with later of what Iv been doing waiting for parts and money for parts lol.

Basically the plan is for a built ldk , details not yet totally worked out on what that will all consist of.

I have finally made my turbo choice and begun to order the parts.

Will be the s257 sxe turbo with all the goodies. Most of the parts should be on their way from zzp later this week, still waiting for order conformation. In the mean time I'm basically doing rust proofing and repairing and replacing a few things. Working on interior as well. Gonna try making a new dash pod setup.

Started this project yesterday. See how it will turn out. Looks good so far. Don't be know if it will make it on new engine, depending on what head I'm getting.

Well the white paint didn't stay. Probably didn't let it dry long enough. But I found letting the aluminum show looks better. Much better than grinding it

With a combo of epoxy , silicone for a space filler and fiberglass I'm getting this done. Once it's done it should look mint. I did it in a way that I'll have to do very little work on the top side.

Well goto auto wrecker and get some extra dashes, they are a dime a dozen. I got like 4 already. And mod it. All I did with this is bought a universal dash mount pod and cut hose in the dash so it just fits through perfect. The hard part is the measurements . Then Dremel the hole and ur half way there.

My middle one doesn't spin properly up and down. I think the end of the shaft may have broken.

How hard would they be to swap with the dash still in?

Nope, there are 4 screws and 2 metal washer things u have to pry off with a flat screw driver. It's actually pretty easy to remove the dash. Take off trim, remove all screws under it, take off apillers then the trim in back that has the light sensor for headlights in it, bunch of screws there. Remove airbag, 2 10mm bolts can be accessed from glove box. Unplug all buttons and such and airbag. Pull out airbag then pull out dash. Takes like 5 minutes

Was a little afraid of what painting with rocker panel coating would look like, but dang it tuned out great. It coved up all the minor imperfections perfectly. Now I wait 6 hours and paint it. Will look mint.

Leaves a similar to stock pattern, but a slight rubberized touch instead of hard plastic
