Just switched to Trifecta. wow!

What a difference from the HPTune I had. I feel like the car has alot more low end torque than I did with the custom HPtune I had. Haven't notice any KR and my Fuel trims are alot closer to the -3.0 to -1.0 range. Before my HPtune would be something like -7.0 to -10.5... which bothered the heck out of me. Also, im making 23psi! instead of the lame 20psi.

Something tells me Vince is on to something at Trifecta. Definately a good tune.

P.S. This is a TROOOOLLLLLL POST to catch a certain someone proclaiming Trifecta is garbage to everyone that talks positive about it. lol.

I'd be concerned with the tuner who tuned your car before. Those fuel trims are unacceptable.

Glad to hear you're happy with everything.

Nick tuned me, I actually got a Trifecta switchable tune with him overwriting it. I have to bring the car back to get retuned though / adjusted.

Ya man, that doesn't sound like a Nick tune, or maybe an unfinished Nick tune... Nick could have made it whatever your heart desired (within mechanical reason, of course).

I know that, he wants me to stop on by again. I told him about the fuel trims and he said once we get the Tirfecta file to work, I should be seeing 23psi.

If anyone went to the BYT meet at the beginning of this year, they saw what a corrupt Trifecta file does to a cobalt

So wait, you do or do not have a BYT tune? I saw your other post in the Trifecta thread and am confused now lol.

If you don't have a BYT tune and none of that is true, then that is no bueno sir

without the trifecta file u can get some good amount of boost lol... u dont need it. i have plenty of guys on 24+ lbs and steady with no trifecta. but anyways more boost is fun bit more boost and more timing with a linear afr of. 86-.89 is nice lol

So you are running 3 more pounds and for some reason it's way better than an HP tune and way faster?

Really?

me and joe got tuned the same day at the byt meet this past march
joe had problems with his trifecta file so his tune was off from day one, but its just not easy to drop everything and drive 3 hours to get your car looked at one of the reasons i made a switch to a different tuner but now i am getting rid of my car

Your buddy has HPT and I offered to update the tune No biggie, whatever makes you guys happy with your car is ultimately all that matters!

Joe's car also was a quick tune on the old tables, new tables make a massive difference in the car

Okay okay. I made this thread because I read in another thread that someone said Chevycobaltss3 attacks a thread that speaks positive about Trifecta tunes. I dont really have a trifecta tune. I still have Nick tune. I need to go back but work is a pain in the ass and I dont have the time to drive up there. Yes, Nicks a great guy this thread was never meant to attack him or his tune... lol Highlight the first post. I wrote a note in white...

What people(chevycobaltss3) are saying is you could have saved a good amount of money and been happier with a dialed in HP Tune since you had already been tuned by it. But its whatever floats your boat, man.
