I wonder is there a list of Tunes some where i live in Atlanta & was thinking of Moding my car just have not made up my mind yet.

Forge BPV are NOT an upgrade. They are a pain in the dick and not worth the $150.00 at all. They are too stiff even on the lowest spring and cause BPV solenoid issues as they are slower compared to stock. The stock BPV is the best choice.
You should NOT run a vent to atmosphere BPV or BOV without a tune, on the OEM BPV solenoid, and a MAF relocate it HIGHLY recommended to avoid rich spikes from releasing metered air. When doing the MAF relocate you can simply cut the plastic wire loom open and pull out the wires to move the MAF plug to its new location. No harness or wire cutting is needed on the Cobalts. |
Good advice!

I have had a dollar for every argument I have caught over my analysis of the stock BPV solenoid, MAF relocate and VTA on blow through set ups, I would have a free s257 swap on my car lol |

Add to it that a BPV, BOV, or MAF relocate are not power adders. People seem to think they are. |
Affirmative. Idk why anyone thinks they are lol. They do sound cool though which is worth 5hp in my book ;)

so if i understand this correctly the 3 bar map sensor just senses a more accurate boost pressure correct. And the HPtuner is that a specific brand or is the a couple of hptuners

You can run E30 with just a retune usually. |
Gms1
If I had gms1 sensors do I need to get a custom tune for the effect or can I just install and I’m good to go? |

Wow what a great thread for an LNF beginner. Thank you for starting this up! One question though, I heard you have to cut your stock exhaust to install a downpipe. Is that true?
Also in regards to transmission, I heard the throw out bearing is not very durable. The TOB is really only an issue for people that replace the clutch. Some people install the new TOB wrong and it leads to issues |
Zzp's newly released upgraded HPFP and mongorats LT4 pump adapter kit should be added to thread.
