Lowering Springs, what do you recommend.

I'm going to get lowering springs, but the ones I'm considering isn't recommended on this site. I was considering the eibach sportline. They have a decent moderate drop and with the photos on modern performance website it looks good.

But can you recommend some lowering springs for me.

I care more about the look and driveability than actual lowering amount. A 2" drop here in Colorado may mean a new bumper so that may be too much.

Anyway thanks,

Mike

Best ride quality and performance = pedders, sportlines give you a good looking drop but most complain about ride quality. Pedders gives you a better a ride quality and handling then stock and lowers the car about 1" in the front and about 0.75" in the rear.

i had the sportlines for 2 years, and switched to the pro kit, the sportlines were just a tad to low for my daily driving, no complaints about the pro kit, it just doesnt look as "nice" since its not as low

A friend of mine recommended Tien, but they only offer LSJ springs. If I went that route, would they fit my LNF Coby

canuck motorsports are what I'm running. They are the company that makes springs for SSC (rebranded) they are teh EXACT same only cost about $50 less. that's my pick i had Sportlines on my LT and the ride was harsh compared to these on my TC (not a fair comparison based on strut differences but still food for thought)

i love my h&rs but be warned you can feel every little bump in the road. You get used to it though, and i think they handle pretty well. No complaints here.

H&Rs do not require bump stop cutting FYI. Confirmed with them on the phone. So I'd go with those. I have yet to hit the bumb stops, bumpy ride. But IMO I did notice a bit handling improvement when people said it'd be worse/ the same.

Plus they offer the best stance.

That's sexy, are you using sport springs or race springs?

I found the sport spring set on tirerack for $238 or something like that, is there a cheaper place?

For all out handling the Pedders are by far superior to any other spring,

if you want stock ride and handling with a lower drop go with SSC's they have the closest to stock spring rate you can get.

Most 99% of other springs actually decrease the cars handling....

Pedders are by far the best spring for our cars.

Not quite as slammed as some but some of us don't want that anyway

My main interest is ride quality and the look. Getting rid of my wheel gap is priority Pedders doesn't seem to lower as much as I'd want.

H&R seem good look wise but according to 1badBlueberrySC he says it'll perform worse than stock, is this true?

Yes... the spring rates were designed for the LSJ not the LNF... believe me!

Pedders are the ONLY spring that improves handling on an LNF... SSC's are almost the same as stock which is what I wanted a stock ride with a good drop.

Agreed.

Pedders are by far the best, the ride is similar to stock, the look is improved and most importantly performance isn't sacrificed. If you auto-x or Solo I or you care at all about handling Pedders are your way to go if you just want looks any of the others will suffice.

pffff I dont even believe you. Replacing springs alone will change the ride quality. And I highly doubt with it being that low on SSC's that it rides nice like "stock". Although I have more suspension mods than just pedders, my car rides like **** for a DD. Its stiff as hell and the roads here are harsh.

I promise, I noticed no difference in the ride of the car with my SSC's. Little less body roll but thats it. As far as bumps, and just riding along its all the same.
