New fuel pump maybe e85

Saw this pump on zzps site as wondering if it would help us run full e85

Cobalt & Ion ---> ZZ Performance

07SSYellow Aug 4, 2011 08:36 PM

i cant even run 100% E85 right now

overboostedss Aug 4, 2011 08:46 PM

This e85 is pissing me off. Some guys say they run it no problem and others say its impossible. Can I run e85 on stock cam and fuel pumps?

vahdyx Aug 4, 2011 09:42 PM

This is why I don't E85, it's stupid. I hear E47 is good, but the hassle is outrageous.

Also with that big pump for LNF, it won't benefit you if youre stock turbo.

donkeyballs Aug 4, 2011 09:46 PM

I'm on full E85 :p: All the bugs are worked out now and its time for some more boost :guns:

paintballerr78 Aug 4, 2011 09:50 PM

Im not on a stock turbo and its killing me i cant use e85...DAMN YOU DI

It doesn't matter what turbo you have or how big it is you just need a good tuner. You will come to a point where you run out of fuel but your gonna be over 450whp or close to it. I'm running 26psi with a ton of timing and still have a bit of room for more boost and fuel :)

donkeyballs Aug 5, 2011 11:37 AM

What are both of your maf lb/min WOT@6000rpm or higher and what is your IDC%? Also what timing and max boost?

paintballerr78 Aug 5, 2011 12:43 PM

Ya your running e47 im running straight e30 i didnt feel like mixing all the time at the pumps im lazy as shit hahaha. I thought of doing meth injection also on top of the e30 but i didnt want to risk it. And donkeyballs ill get that info for you sometime soon

donkeyballs Aug 5, 2011 12:56 PM

Alright just trying to get a ballpark idea where everyone is at.
