p0304 when WOT
Misfire on cylinder 4... Only does it when WOT... Normal driving fine no CEL when driving normal, but flashes and exhaust pops when I got WOT. Looks like I'll be chasing the code Saturday.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how it can be a bad mechanical part like the rings when there not a single symptom until I boost over ~7-10 psi.
I've brought it out all the way out to 6k rpm no problem no stutter no cel... It makes no sense.

Lmao yes. It does. Like a cap gun. Not real machine gun of course. Alright thank you! I'll have to check that out. Gonna have to get new intake manifold gasket too since I gotta take that damn thing off to get to injectors

It definitly sounds like the injector seal is bad from the way you describe it. Also, while you have the intake manifold off to replace the injector seal . You should also consider cleaning your intake valves while you have the manifolds off already.

Like quicksilver said, since ur intake is off anyway, get urself a sandblast gun, some walnut blast, and the how to clean gunked valves in the how to forum, and clean those valves. Probably need it by now if u have decent miles on the motor. Then get a Powell oil seperator and clean ur pipes and intercooler of any oil

Like Tom said.. get a media blast gun and some walnut blast. I have done five or six Lnf's now. And I can tell you these cars with any real miles on them seem to be pretty gunked up. The walnut blast works amazing. And I can't believe how well it cleans the valves. How ever. If you can't get your hands on a media gun and some walnut blast. Then go to your local auto store and buy some throttle body cleaner. Soak the valves down and clean away with some pics and a good old soft tooth brush. It will work this way also. It is more time consuming. And not as effective. But tb cleaner will work and clean them up. But remember there will always be 3 closed cylinders and one open one. A visual check will tell you which ones are closed or open. I would definitely try to clean them whole you are in there. Your car will thank you. And frankly you may see some extra fuel mileage and be a tad smoother at idle.

Tip to anyone reading this, I didn't have the tool to get the seal on, but I made one. Wasn't hard at all. And worked great.

I did after the problem existed.. And idk why but now its fine no misfire. Maybe the coil didn't like the plug Lol or maybe the seals set better after being heated. Who knows I'm just happy I got the seals done..

I know this is an old thread, but I just started having this problem recently. Tried swapping coil packs and spark plugs so far with no luck. Car is a 100% stock 2009 and only has 9,100 miles on it. Wanted to get some more advice before I started taking it apart. It appears Joe09SS had this issue, replaced #4 injector seal, still had the problem, and then the problem went away. There was no follow up so I wanted to see if the injector seal was the fix, or it was something else.
Anyone else have this issue?
