They are more for durability, but no you won't get any benefit in performance.

Yeah it definitely adds to the look, the engine bay is where I want my car to look its best. Going to put a lot of work into the harness over the next couple months.

The wiring is gonna clean up the engine bay nicely. You know, after all these years building custom sleeved wiring for my computers, I'm suprised I never thought of doing it to any of my cars. I may have to look into that.

Yeah I have the stuff on my PC as well and never thought of it either until I seen a pic of it used on a LS build.

My LC-2 showed up today.

Why get an LC-2? The car has a factory wideband...

We have a factory sensor but we don't have a factory gauge. I bought this to replace my AEM UEGO.

I like the Innvoate stuff. The serial output is nice on the lc-1's I've used and have the xd-16 gauge in my 99. But for these cars cant you plug in an Aeroforce gauge to read out things from the ecu?

If thats the route you want to go then yeah you can run a aeroforce in these cars. But that isn't what I wanted to do I have had a decent amount of experience with the innovate stuff over the years and that is what I wanted in this car. Only reason I had the AEM setup was because I made a deal with a local dsm guy for some FD wheels I was going to use on my 1g project that never happened.

I was just curious as to why you'd want to put a 2nd wideband on your car and you answered that. and I wasn't sure if you'd heard of aeroforce before which is why I mentioned it.

Got the gauges installed last night going to get the GMS1 sensors on tonight if my tune is ready.

Boost gauge doesn't read past 10psi so amazon has a replacement on the way.

Your issue sounds exactly like what happened with my HHR SS. Sluggish no boost. P0101. I cleaned the MAF worked for a day or 2 then swapped it. Never came back. Oh awesome color by the way. Love the 4 door.

That code usually means you have a boost leak
