had it... put it in... read many bad things... switched back to stock... realized stock performed better anyways.

just search for topics on this, theres a lot to know about this upgrade before doing it and it poses lots of risks to hurting your car.

expect this thread to explode with responses soon arguing about the spring. for the most part i think a lot of people are avoiding it now.

I took mine out because I was experiencing some mild compressor surge when letting off the throttle. . It sounds like a fluttering noise and causes some lag between shifts. The spring has a much higher spring pressure than the stock spring so the vacuum from the intake does not open it quickly enough in some cases, and that causes a reversion of the airmass as the throttle slams shut. That airmass then slams into the turbine causing it to stall. Not a good thing IMHO.

You are going to get a lot of conflicting stories...

I for one have not had any issues with it... I am however going to take it back out. Peer Pressure kinda thing.

But I know of 3 others without any problems with it too..

::shrugs::

Better safe than sorry and I like the way it drives better with the stock spring in there.

That is a big issue if you NLS on a regular basis.
