I should be fine as long as u fill the rest of it up with 91, u might wanna put a gallon or so of e85 in to even it out or a bottle of octane booster, if he ten bucks worth of 87 in and u put ten bucks of 91 in then u get $20bucks worth of 89 and if u put more then $10 worth of 91 them u may closer to 90 octane

No offense but from the descriptions I've seen on this site about how bad it is with a full tank of regular gas, you should have noticed much sooner haha

I'm on the mobile site so I can't see where you are in Canada but I know in Ontario we can get 94 at some huskys or petrocanadas. Throw in some of that and you will be fine. Worse that will happen is it will pull some timing if you get a little knock

I am hoping with 94 I will raise the octane enough to hopefully not knock, I would really rather not knock lol!

Don't waste your money on octane boosters. They are literally junk. Don't do a damn thing.

Just drive easy until your next fill up.

10% ethanol is all we can get here in NY state ..... Most of the other states I've traveled in also have E10 ...... I wouldn't let that bother you too much .

If they give you a sticker when you get the Stage 1 then maybe it doesnt NEED premium without stage 1?
I know alot of people here know it still should have it but maybe GM doesnt think so. Beats me

sometimes i think some of you people just like to post to get your post count up...in the OWNERS manual it clearly says 87 is ok for your car but for optimal performance use a higher grade fuel...no where does it say anything about premium only. its a GM product not a damn Nissan.

I believe the sticker says recommended. Isn't gms1 required which I'm guessing would come with a new sticker?

I put regular fuel in my car usually any time Im doing highway driving. I also notice 0 difference between regular fuel and premium. I find ethanol blends can be hit or miss.

You put 87 in it with GM stage 1 ? If so ....there is more than just potential power loss to worry about....knock/detonation will occur ...and it isn't good for the motor.
