Not true. First off the boost wont be the same all the time. On a hot day 15-17 is normal and on cold days, like sub 80*, I can see 13 psi. The car adjusts accordingly

Yeah the ECU will adjust boost accordingly to achieve the power its rated at of 260. As stated, on a hot day it will boost more to achieve those numbers whereas on a cold day it will be less.

normally mine hangs around 15 below 75, seems to creep up to 17.8 as you get to 92 or so and then goes back to 15 over 95ish, at 6000ft altitude i see 17.8 and i've seen 13.2 when it was in the 40's

I swear I've gotten to 20psi before, but when I recorded it, it was 17-18psi.

hot air is less dense so the pcm will tell the car to push more manifold pressure to be able to still achieve 260tq/hp

and yes the number on the boost gauge

The highest number it hits on the boost gauge would be what it spikes to then whatever it falls down to is the regular boost. Most likely will be around 15 psi on a stock tune.
