Super slow spool among other problems.

I started driving my car yesterday and it felt fine until I tried to get up on it. It sounds real deep kind of weird and takes a solid 3-4 seconds to spool even if I hammer down over 3.5k.

My guess is a clogged cat. Anyone else have any ideas? I'm also going to check the BPV and waste gate actuators.

In the end I'm going to do a spark plug change too since I've been having some spark problems.

I'll post back up what I find if I get to it before someone comes back with a good idea.

You recently have any fuel system work done? When was your last fill up? Mine did that right after I had a fuel system cleaning and fresh tank of gas. It was knocking 15 Degrees, sounded like i was brake boosting but was only seeing 3-5psi, shook the car a little and flogged that tank out. Haven't had a problem since.

I managed t fix it. No fuel work was done.

When I was on the highway I did a 3rd gear kick down and pull and it drove as it should ever since.

Also just to be sure I did spark plugs, oil change, and I had a forge BPV laying around for a year so I took care of all those.

Well an update for you all. I'm going to make another post to help diagnose, but anyone who looked at this thread: No boost, no power, and the turbo sounds almost like a high pitch electric beard trimmer? I don't want to say whine because its more buzzy than that.

Figure I'll post here and see what ya'll say while I make a more thorough thread.

I'm guessing either a clogged cat like you had suggested or a cracked inter cooler end tank.
