Yes, you do have be meticulous about tuning for it but I will say that I just ran 4.5 seconds from 60-100 at 21 psi and the stock MAF tables with the Hahn intake, compared to my normal time of 5.2 seconds with the stock intake with the drop in filter. The best time I had gotten previously was ~4.6 seconds with the AEM intake at 24psi (4.9 seconds at 21 psi) I bet once I get it fully dialed in at 24 psi I will be able run an honest 4 seconds flat. The Hahn intake has enormous top end compared to any of the other intakes.

The nicest thing I have found with the Hahn intake is the top end flow/MAF frequency is very consistant. Makes it easy to dial in the WOT settings. Midrange is another story as Term can attest to. A lot of time is spent getting the low & midrange MAF correction right.

I had the opposite experience for some strange reason. I did not use my normal method to begin with like I should have though. I got it pretty close in one shot using my normal method. LTFT was -0.8% and STFTs were within 2% except for one area.

Nah no codes. It will run a tad rich sometimes with that particular intake. The ECM will do the best it can to compensate but it is good at over and undercompensating (especially overcompensating) as far as adjusting the fuel trims.

So the Clear Image Auto intake is total garbage? lol Is there anything that can be done to make it do things "right"? Basically, you're saying get rid of it and buy Hahn.. Just want to verify b4 I try to sell it and get a Hahn. I haven't installed it yet.. been sittin in the box since the end of September; didn't want to bother putting it on so close to winter and I'm about ready to do it in the next week or two when my pipes arrive. The car will be re-tuned by HPTuners in my area when I do this work. Will this fix the issues or does it not matter, just get a Hahn?

This MAF turbulence at idle is probably the worst part of adding an intake onto your car. I can see the car advance and retard timing bc of it, you can feel it too

^We covered that hole above the foglight on BBG's car and the car had almost flat lined Fuel Trims everywhere!! I did mine yesterday when I put the Gen4's on teh car

I had to put a "hat" over the top of my intake because when it rains really hard water gets onto the headlight bracket and drips right onto the top of the filter. I may cover that hole above the fog light as well because when I wash my car a lot of water gets into there.

Def will help and it's easy to do and takes almost no time.

I noticed no change in performance, I didn't actually look and compare the logs but I did take one this morning. So Ill check later and see if there is a difference, I really doubt it tho!

Works great but I think it is still getting a little wet from the fog light hole. Need to check next time I wash the car.
