Timing Chain Repair

I've been putting off this repair for awhile. The car runs fine and noCEL (for now). For about 8 months, there has been a distinct tapping noise. Not the fuel injectors, but more so near the tensioner and timing chain location. With 95k hard miles on her, I'm not too surprise that it's time for this repair.

I would do it myself, but I don't have as much free time to tackle this repair. Yet alone the tools/knowledge required to do it right. What are good rates for shops to do this? I haven't been to a shop for major work since 2009 for my old 1990 camry. I loved that beater and it saved my life.

Average shop rate is probably about $90 or so and I'd say probably 5 hours at minimum plus parts. So you're looking at a minimum of $450 in labor before tax

That's as much as the damn kit. FML. Guess it's better than a blown engine.
