Undercoating
I was curious to see if anyone had undercoated their cars. I was thinking about doing mine. I was going to start with the wheel wells mainly to cut down on road noise. Then I was going to spray the undercarriage where it is prone to rusting.
What do you guys think? Anyone done this yet? |
Im not quite shure what this is.. pics?

Its a spray on coating for the undercarriage of your car to help prevent rust. It also deadens road noise. Its a rubberized spray and some have asphalt in them.

If you're doing it yourself with the aerosol undercoat, take your time and take off your tires and spray the wheel wells. Also, if you are doing the undercarriage remember to not clog any possible drain holes. Beware though that the aersol stuff can eventually can break off.

So where did you go to get it done? I think it would be a good idea with all the salt on the roads during winter here in new england. |
