Spoke to Tom at cratengine depot, the cobalt kit is not going to be released until January. Cobalt kit will have new air intake.

Solstice and HHR kits are going to ship first

So the price includes the new intake as well?

What is the difference between the HHR kit and the Cobalt kit?
I would think the Solstice/Sky kit would be released first.
The HHR SS is a totally different platform and has been out one less year.
I would have thought the HHR/ Cobalt kit would be at the same time because they are similar platforms.(both front wheel drive, same trans(except final drive), both come with manual(except optional auto in HHR).

It will be interesting to see what kind of air intake they come out with.

I talked to gmpartscheap....they said $700...I will ask them about the intake....

Ok...finally heard back from gmpartscheap...apparantly the kit is too new so there is no timeframe on the kit and details are still a little sketchy

I am actually going to hold off until HPT cracks the new OS then I'll make the purchase, but the dealer didn't mention when they could have it, they just said I can come in and order it. Otherwise I'm going to be wasting my $$ right now since I'll have more HP anyways with the GT30R

So is there any info as to what the warranty on this will be? Because if there is none, why bother spending this much money for that power level?

-to get the sensors that allow the computer to read up to 28-29ish psi
-to get rid of the "learn down" when you add more mods
-apparantly now a CAI
-at $10 per ft-lb, it is a pretty big bang for the buck mod

If you get your car tuned you are throwing the warranty out the window anyways, unless you puchase an extra ecm and can trick the dealer into doing a clutch relearn for you.

I'll wait till march or so,and decide then.Dont forget a good dose of torque in the package. No sense in spinning tires all thru winter, lol.I also tend to think, for those conciencous about warantee matters,it complicates things that the tune will unleash the potential of supporting mods but the mods that do that could negate some of said warantee from the tune alone, lol,i dunno.

Do you have any info on the cobalt kit price, hp/tq and availability?

Yes I know I have it in the wrong place but up til now the Cobalt was the only vehicle that they made a stage kit for. As for the Cobalt they had to re design the air intake so the Cobalt Stage kit will be a lil while yet but I will be posting it up once its released.

I don't have the ratings for the Cobalt yet.
